Corey was invited to the Governor's Gala. And since I'm his wife, I got to tag along. While I didn't have much time to get ready and I wasn't too impressed with my hair, I still managed to have a good time. I also managed to find the only Democrat in the room- Mayor Snarr of Murray. I'm sure it's no to surprise to ya'll that we were by far the loudest in the room. PS: If you ever need a story/poem that involves tons of rhymes, call Mayor Snarr.

We are so happy to have a new baby in the family. Presley Castro, daughter of Bobbi and Danny Castro. She is so cute. We now are up to 2 Nephews and 4 Nieces.

And for those of you that do not know, Jody and Jami are expecting too. So we'll have more babies in the family in 2009.

Not only do I love this movie, but Corey reminds me of Goob. Also, since becoming a member of the Rushton family. Disney has become a way of life. I think I've embraced it well.

My mom and aunt came to visit Utah in October. It was so fun catching up with those crazy girls. We went to Park City for Lunch, drove around Sundance, and even went on a train ride in Heber City. I can't wait to see them again.

For those of you that didn't know, my husband got elected to the West Valley City At-Large Councilman Position. I am very proud of him! It was with the help of many friends, family, and community members. It has been so much fun to be involved and watch Corey make a change for a better future.
